Grit Zwingenberger was a visiting scholar at Cambridge University, researching the influence of social norms on high impact environmental behaviours within organisations across multiple regions.

As a Sustainability Consultant in a large professional services company, she is committed to applying research findings from social and cognitive psychology to facilitate sustainability transformations within organisations. She is particularly focused on guiding and influencing individuals known as "high-impact people" who have a disproportionately high impact on the climate emergency and therefore play a pivotal role in its mitigation.

As a One Young World ambassador, Grit is a member of the global community of young leaders dedicated to addressing pressing global challenges. At the annual One Young World summit she actively engages in discussions and collaborates on innovative solutions under the mentorship of influential business, political, and humanitarian leaders. Within her organisation, she is a member of the Junior Advisory Board and has recently completed a six-month assignment in the North South Europe & Middle East People & Purpose team, connecting employees to the firm’s wider purpose. As an accredited change management professional, Grit previously consulted large multinational organisations on their transformation strategies, focusing on cultural shifts, leadership, learning & development and behaviour change. In her current role, Grit leads the firm’s sustainability engagement efforts, empowering employees to adopt more sustainable behaviours and integrating sustainability into the firm's governance and overall strategy.

Grit is an experienced workshop host and public speaker, having delivered keynotes on sustainability & change-making within organisations. Alongside her professional pursuits, she engages in corporate activism and volunteers for projects related to environmental and societal impact. She's a passionate advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, and collaborates on projects towards a more inclusive and equitable world.

Grit's extensive international experience, acquired through living in various countries across Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia, motivates her research on cultural differences in environmental behaviours. Grit is currently completing her MSc in Psychology at the University of Zurich in Switzerland.
