Graduate Students
Prof. van der Linden is accepting PhD students but please explore the links below first to learn more about the Department, deadlines, and funding opportunities.
In addition, please browse through the lab's research pages to see how your research proposal might fit with the interests of the lab. When you contact Dr. van der Linden, please include a CV, brief research proposal, and writing sample, and CC the CSDM lab managers Yara Kyrychenko and Miriam Remshard (csdmlab@outlook.com).

Undergraduate Students
Part-time research assistants are welcome as well as applications for summer undergraduate and dissertation research projects. Please fill out this short application form, and we will get back to you if a spot becomes available.
Postdoctoral Research Associates
When funded postdoctoral research positions are available, these will be advertised on the website. Self-funded postdocs are welcome. Please contact Dr. van der Linden (CC lab managers Yara Kyrychenko and Miriam Remshard (csdmlab@outlook.com)) with your CV and a brief outline of the proposed collaboration.
Visiting Scholars
Occasionally, the lab hosts visiting researchers if a productive collaboration is likely. Please note that there is a benchmark fee of 100 pounds per month for academic visitors. In some cases, this fee can be paid for by the lab. We do not fund external visitors nor sponsor visas. A CV and reference is usually required for academic visits.
