Christel van Eck was a visiting PhD Candidate from the Strategic Communication Group at Wageningen University & Research, funded by the Dutch Research Council’s Research Talent Scholarship. Her PhD research focuses on polarisation in the climate change blogosphere. More broadly, she is interested in climate change communication, climate psychology, processes of polarisation, and new media. At Cambridge, Christel's research looked at blog audiences’ climate risk perceptions.
