Dr Nadia Said is a Postdoc at the Applied Cognitive Psychology research group at the University of Tübingen and was a visiting research scholar at the Social Decision-Making Lab. She holds a diploma in physics as well as a bachelor's degree in psychology from Heidelberg University. Her PhD was a cooperative project between the psychological institute and the Interdisciplinary Center for Scientific Computing (IWR) at Heidelberg, with a focus on the application of mathematical methods to psychological topics such as belief polarization, understanding of climate change, and the understanding of non-linear processes. She tackled those questions by applying a variety of methods like cognitive modeling, agent-based modeling, and mathematical optimization methods.
